Frequently asked questions
Can I see who made every change?
You see who whenever your team edits product fields through the Histora block in your Shopify admin. Changes made by other apps, bulk edits or the API are still fully captured — what changed and when — but Shopify doesn't tell us a user for those, so we never guess.
Does Histora help with EU Omnibus compliance?
Yes. Histora can display the required 30-day lowest-price message automatically on your product pages, and it keeps a full price history (with CSV export) so you can evidence compliance.
Can I undo or revert a change?
Histora is your source of truth rather than an undo button — it shows exactly what changed and the prior value, so you can correct with confidence. For deletions, it goes further: deleted products are kept and images are backed up so you can restore the originals.
I'm in the US — is this for me?
Absolutely. The audit trail (who/what/when, recovery, search) is valuable for any store. The Omnibus price display is an optional bonus for merchants selling into the EU/UK.
How long is history kept?
Up to 365 days by default, and configurable in settings. Need longer retention? Our team can arrange a bespoke plan.
